RETURN TO YOU YOGA RETREAT...
WHAT PARTICIPANTS FROM THE 2022 RETURN TO YOU YOGA RETREAT ARE SAYING...
"Erin and Roxanne were the perfect guides for the Return to you Yoga retreat. This was my first in person yoga experience and Roxanne was amazing! Both the Asana and the Nidra-sound bath were transformative for me. Erin and the horses of Wild Cove added to the beauty and flow of the practice. What a unique and wonderful experience. Highly recommend it!!" ~Shannon
"I stepped way out of my comfort zone and forced my isolated self to go to this retreat, and I am so glad I did. I was really anxious and scared when I arrived, but I left the retreat feeling a calmness that I had not felt in many years. I went home and slept until 2pm the next day, a restful, necessary slumber, following months on end of night terrors, insomnia and just being too scared to sleep. There was quiet and peace in my head. I am so grateful I was able to do this for myself and I get tears right now just thinking about the hope it gave me. Erin and Roxanne are both wonderful and make everyone feel safe and valuable. You should really give yourself this gift. You deserve it." ~Grace

Are you having difficulty sleeping? Problems with digestion? Feeling disconnected from your body? Is it hard to focus?
Hard to be present for your family? Are you easily irritated?
These are some of the symptoms associated with unprocessed trauma that can be stored in our bodies. We refer to two types of trauma: big-T Trauma and little-t Trauma. Big-T trauma is what we often think of when we think of trauma: an accident, a loss, an injury. However, we are also exposed to little-t trauma on a daily basis: being cut off in traffic, seeing violence on TV, being repeatedly interrupted by an aggressive co-worker. Our bodies process both types of trauma in the same way. This can include laughter, shaking, sweating, yawning, tears/crying.
All actions that are not always encouraged in stressful situations.
However, if we don’t allow our bodies to process, stored trauma leads to many of the symptoms listed above.
