Register for Making Peace, Making Joy
This retreat is an invitation to make peace with the struggles of the past three years.
Together we will lay down the strife, honor our losses, and tune ourselves to the light rising on the horizon.

Inside our supportive container, we help folks meet what is in your heart, so you may open into joy and playfulness.
We'll use guided exercises, art materials, and interactions with horses to unfurl our tired selves into care.
Come share a meal, meet new people, and fall in love with a horse...or four!

WHAT TO EXPECT
Being in community with people and horses who support exploration of what you need to own, honor, and release in order to embrace authentic joy in the present moment. This process is guided by Expressive Arts exercises that tap into knowing beyond the limits of the logical mind; and exercises with the horses that intentionally engage both hemispheres of your brain
cultivating creativity and new awareness. (Go to Why Horses to learn more.)

Please know you're invited to participate as your whole-self in a way that's comfortable for you.

We'll move between the farm's studio, pastures, and arena.
There will be snacks and beverages available throughout the day
and we'll close with a group meal.

Activities are facilitated by teaching artist, Natasha Terry, and ICF-certified coach Erin Fristad.

Interesting fact about Natasha and Erin...they both earned their Masters of Fine Arts from Goddard College (21 years apart!).

ABOUT NATASHA TERRY
Natasha is a 4th generation multimedia artist. She joined the Air Force out of high school after being told the artist life would be one of struggle. However, after service and many failed attempts to don a conventional lifestyle, the art won out. Having been exposed to prolific human suffering as a medic, she was determined to understand what creates sustainable wellness within people. She attained degrees in Health Sciences (AS), Psychology (BA), and Teaching (MA); then integrated those studies with historical, systemic, and ecological understandings through a recently completed MFA of Interdisciplinary Arts Degree, with a Decolonial Art Praxis. Natasha enjoys stretching the boundaries of what is possible using creative process techniques and deep inquiry to catalyze fresh, lively experiences and insights. Her facilitative approach roots the fundamental dignity and sovereignty of all participants.
